The flat has a separate entrance and is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood at the intersection of Tamalpais Valley and Tennessee Valley in the lower level of our wooden A-Frame home. Our family lives on the 2nd & 3rd floors. There are approximately 30 steps from the street to the apartment patio and everything is very private, nestled behind a canopy of Bay trees. Local deer and wild turkeys roam the hills and streets of Tam Valley. You may be lucky enough to spot the odd fox, coyote or raccoon at night from your private patio. Enjoy the many biking and hiking trails nearby which take you along the Coast to some of Marin''s favorite destinations. We even have a trailhead a few minutes away that leads to the Miwok Trail which we hike on a regular basis. The apartment is well appointed, clean and brand new. It has radiant heat floors, 100% wool carpets and limestone tile and is cleaned with only eco-friendly products. We are committed to sustainable living and when possible use quality natural ingredients. Paper Towels and Bath Tissue are 100% Post-Consumer recycled fiber from Marcal and Cleaning products are sourced from local people against dirt, Method. The bedroom features a super comfortable mattress and duvet with plenty of closet space. The 3 seat living room sofa easily turns into a "small queen"-sized bed, perfect to share. There are also 2 chairs for additional seating. There is a coffee table which could double as the kid''s table or pulled between the seating areas to play games or eat pizza while watching a movie on the flat screen TV. Enjoy the reading and games nook complete with a kid''s arts and crafts table. Lots of books for all ages and games for the whole family to play. The dining table accommodates 4 and can be pushed against the wall for a smaller footprint. All 4 bench chairs fit underneath for easy storage. There is a kitchenette with microwave, toaster oven, small refrigerator, sink, kettle and french press coffee maker - with service for 4. You will love the bathroom. It has natural light coming in from a very large window, is painted a soft sage green with beautiful accent tile throughout. The shower gives hot water on demand from the eco-boiler and there is powerful water pressure. There is also a separate WC/toilet in the European tradition.
