Financial Analyst - (San Francisco) in San Francisco, California For Sale

We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to support our San Francisco-based Capital Markets - Investment Sales team. We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic team players who are passionate about real estate and financial markets, and enjoy being challenged on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities: Support the investment sales team on all levels to pitch/secure new business and execute a variety of transactions across asset classes in the San Francisco Bay Area (office, retail, R&D, land/development). Build sophisticated financial models and perform spreadsheet analyses using Excel and ARGUS. Perform due diligence on transactions, including reviewing/evaluating legal documents, financial statements and third party property reports. Collaborate with other internal business units to analyze and create submarket reports showcasing inventory, vacancy, absorption, rental rates, and sale and lease comparables. Gather and organize data from internal and external sources and develop compelling charts/visuals regarding economic, demographic and real estate market trends and opportunities. Assist with preparation of new business pitches, property offering memoranda and other special projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (coursework in Finance, Accounting, and/or Real Estate a plus) from top-tier school with excellent academic credentials. 1-2 years of relevant work experience in finance, real estate or consulting preferred. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing and communication skills. Strong financial/analytical and problem solving skills including financial modeling capabilities. Proficiency across entire Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook). ARGUS modeling experience highly desirable, but not required. Project management skills: ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment. Keen attention to detail and accuracy, with an eye toward aesthetics in presentation materials. Proactive self-starter with strong work-ethic. Exhibits professionalism and maturity; able to establish trust, credibility and rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
